David Chiasson, MSc., CPE


President and Senior Ergonomist 
In 1996 Dave graduated from Dalhousie University with a Master of Science degree in Kinesiology with specialization in Ergonomics. He worked with The Province of Nova Scotia as an Ergonomist for five years before moving on to launch Ergonomic Systems Associates, in 2001. In 2002 he became a Board Certified Professional Ergonomist as awarded by the Board of Certification in Professional Ergonomics (BCPE). Over his career in private practice, Dave has been very fortunate to have worked with hundreds of private corporations and governments throughout Canada. Along the way he has completed thousands of assessments and desiged and delivered hundreds of workshops and courses. Dave lives in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

Experience

Dave has helped customers in diverse areas such as manufacturing, processing, health care, aerospace and defense, search and rescue and office industries identify and resolve their problems. He has worked in the cockpits of airplanes, in engine rooms of passenger ferries, on large assembly lines, in small operations and large corporations providing services that range from analyzing the effects of changes in production on human performance to designing intelligent workspaces.
